Raked

DIY day 5 - although we were rather slow getting going again this morning.  I phoned my Mum and had a chat first, and then we finally got on with it.  I spent most of the day cleaning cupboards and painting the trim around the edges (to match our new doors), and Tim - after plumbing in the tap and waste pipes in the sink - plastered the walls for tiling at a later date.  Again, doesn't sound much, but it took pretty much all day.

We stopped just before 5 and I did all the washing up that had built up over the past couple of days.  Had a bit of a rest, then we went out for dinner at Khan's.  (The cooker's still out of use, and the dishwasher's still in the living room, so going out was the easy option.)  The sky was very beautiful on the way there.  Had a lovely meal, then came home for a relaxing evening in front of the telly :)
