This afternoon had quite an English theme. Some neighbours came over and got me to agree to teach one of them English twice a week. She is engaged to a K in the UK and has to pass a test before she's allowed a visa. Her English is terrible.

Then a friend came over to play with the girls and R started teaching her English using this sticker book. We're feeling very sorry for the children here; they are so bored. School still hasn't started, the summer holiday has been almost 5 months long so far. The teachers are protesting over huge wage cuts and delayed salaries.
