Harvest

It was very gratifying to find so much to pick and admire in the garden after our absence. The badgers had eaten one of the Golden Hubbard squash but maybe the tough skin had given them indigestion.  The sweet cor had filled out nicely and not turned starchy - which surprised me. It was delicious.
