Turning

These horse chestnuts are starting to turn. 

A busy day in Edinburgh. I eventually found Morningside after driving up and down for a while. More excellent charity shops - this time John Lewis bowls and plates and more short jeans. I even bought a 1979 OS map of Edinburgh to help me find my way about. All very exciting. 

Clearing out old junk from the new flat in the afternoon and an email from someone I knew back when I was doing A levels who now lives in NZ - he'd come across my website. It's very gratifying when these things happen even if quite rare. 

Driving back to Kent tomorrow.
