Autumn Rasps.

Our fruit farm was open for the first time this Autumn.
We were there 5 mins. before opening time, as rain was forecast.
Managed to pick 4 lbs before it started raining.
I took a pound over for my sister, and she had just baked some biscuits, so it was a fair swap!
The quality of the fruit wasn't quite as good as last year. Not sure why as September has been good. I think it may actually be lack of rain, as they weren't quite so big.

Sister and brother-in-law have just become grandparents for the fith time.
Grandchild no 5 and another girl. She doesn't seem to mind, and says that's it. There won't be any more. So no grandsons.
There daughter has 3 girls, and now their son had 2.
Mr C did point out to BIL that he would be 90 when this little one reached her 20th birthday!
Had to laugh!
