The water wheel

This is a backblip because blipfoto was down last night.   Having driven over to Manchester Saturday afternoon, we had a family meal in the evening before setting off for Quarry Bank mill Sunday morning, the location for the recent television series, 'The Mill.'  B. decided to try his hand at archery.  We then saw a demonstration of cottage spinning and weaving before moving into the mechanised spinning and weaving sheds.  There was plenty for the children to do and we could have spent the whole day there.  I will have to visit again to do the place justice.
