Mother and Child Reunion

1972 a song by Paul Simon and the last year of our 6 year stay in Hong Kong with my first husband who lives in France and has done for the last 25 years, or so and not very far away from where we are staying with our friends. (The friends and ex-husband and I were next door neighbours some 30 years ago!!)

2016 ex-husband's birthday today and guess who came to visit us, yes ex-husband and his very nice partner (on a prior invitation), only trouble was the invitation to lunch was for tomorrow, so we all had a bit of a run around to get lunch organised!! After the initial panic the 'reunion' went swimmingly well and we forgave the geriatric 76 year old for his forgetfulness!!!

After we'd waved our guests off I went for a lovely walk down the quiet country lane with 'Red' the black lab where I saw these figures in
someone's garden.
