Up & Down

An ... interesting... day.

After breakfast I went out on my regular 2 hours cycle to West Wemyss. Apart from a strong wind and the usual quota of dimwitted dog walkers (if you can't control your mutt, can I suggest keeping it on the lead), it was ideal.

Oh, and apart from falling off on a fast downhill section - a cobbled street and it can be a bit greasy with fallen leaves at this time of year. Nothing broken, but that 's just luck. Some aches and pains coming up to add to the skinned elbow and knee. A very hard landing.

Cut the grass after lunch and managed to avoid injury.

Over to Edinburgh for 6. My first Edinburgh Capitals game this season. Wonderful game. Caps won on penalty shots. It could have gone either way, to state the obvious.

Amongst a lineup of 2 hugely experienced Russians, a few Canadians just out of college, a Latvian and a Czech, they have recruited a 17 year old from Forres. His older brother was a team mate of my son when Mark played for Elgin 7 years ago.

Home for 9.30 pm. Blipfoto site "down".

Almost stayed awake until bed time (backBlipping, obviously).
