Red Tories

An interesting day today for those of us who are "political".

Corbyn isn't part of the Establishment, of course. That's why they all come after him the way they do (including the Red Tories in his own party).

I bought the book last week, and it is a good read so far.

In other news - met N for something to eat after she finished work. A Kirkcaldy curry. What she ordered was unrecognisable as tarka daal. She couldn't eat it, poor thing.

The waitress took it back. The manager apologised. The kitchen's second attempt was no better. The owner apologised. They seem to know what it should be like, but can't cook it.

The advice was to announce next time that "we're Indian" and want our food "Indian style", not Kirkcaldy style. Words fail me.

Tomorrow I may go for a pizza when I'm in Edinburgh. That'll be an Italian style pizza (perhaps).
