Visit from the Ministry

This was a big day on the farm; a visit from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Went to Doroba this morning, picked Dupu, then Mrs Wadi from the Ministry of Agriculture and the crew from the co-op in Doroba and went to Lusangazi farm.
It was a great day in Lusangazi to have a lady from the Ministry to visit tand our people gave her the usual bright reception
Welcoming remarks from Lusangazi crew, introducing all our employees and outlining all that is done on the farm, before going into the fields.
Mrs Wadi said this is one of the best places to visit and to teach other farmers because their are some many different crops growing.
She also encouraged the people from Doroba to learn from what is happening and said she will also bring many more people from other areas to visit as there are so many things to learn there. I then left to visit a few new pump locations.
As usual everyone was fed with produce from the farm and in the evening,
I went back to Lusangazi and picked up Doroba people and Mrs Wadi from the Ministry. We also gave them some seeds, seedlings and plastic tubes for seedlings before they left.

A very exciting time for all, and a very big day for all our staff who are actually brilliant in their knowledge and delivery.

Mrs Wadi from the Ministry of Agriculture accepts bean seeds from Robert
