Australia - Hartley's Crocs

This morning we walked about an hour through Cairns to pick up our large car/van. It will be our Home for the next 12 days.
So far we have discovered that it is quite Small and rather warm. We will probably need a little bit More Time finding our way in it. But it will probably not be a big problem, since we are sitting outside a lot. It is a Nice tropical weather here with tempature between 20-30 degrees.

After we packed our van we droge up north for a Small detour. The Boy really wanted to see the crocs, so we paided them a little visit at Hartley's, where they actually Have a croc Farm. They Harvest the skinn, for leather purposes. They actually use every bit of the croc: meat, bones,etc.

Not only did we het a Chance to view some crocs, we also saw several shows in which feeding and Hunting was demonstrated.
We saw a whole lot of the Australian Wildlife, such as the cassoway, kuckaburroo, quillos anbof course the Koala and kangaroo. We even got the Chance to feed some of these animals. And we so a Joey Koala ( the cutest!).
A beautiful (Read:Hot) day.

We ended up at a tarvene where we were able to camp.
Tomorrow we are going to enjoy the wonders of the Australian rainforrest.
