Australia - Great Barrier Reef

Enjoying the beauty of the reef.

Today we went out on a little cruise from Cairns to the reef, 50km off shore.
It is a beautiful Sunny day and on the platform we got our snorkel gear and went in the water, which was about 30degrees.
A wide variety of fish and lots of different corals were just out of reach. At one point we were even a bit hesitant to go further, afraid that our flippers would hit the corals.
It was amazing to be so close to this world heritage site.

What a wonderful way to spent my blipbirthday.
