The problem with Plums

....or at least with these ones are that they are quite small, a bit smaller than a walnut, and it is quite tedious to de-stone them. At least that is what Mrs R tells me. There are also an awful lot of them. We have about four other trees, although of different varieties so we won't have to deal with them all at the same time.
Plum jam is on the agenda for tomorrow and I suppose plum pudding is quite seasonal, although it still doesn't feel like it here. The last plum cake was a disaster, as Ollie ate half before we had a chance to try any. Any other recipes ?
