Bananas don't need nurturing

I cleared this area a few weeks back to extend a hard standing area for the boat. This included banana trees and other plants, and then over 100mm of metal was laid and compacted. This doesn't appear to be much of an obstacle for bananas and new shoots have pushed through and are spreading further along and right beneath the boat. They obviously don't mind a bit of rough treatment.
