Da Burra Shop

Gales have been blowing all day long, and plenty of rain.  It did dry up in the afternoon, and the sun tried it's best to break through the clouds! 

It's been a lazy morning, due to the rain.  I went for a run to Burra, and also to Lerwick, but much the same weather.  Popped along friends on the afternoon and when the rain finally stopped, I managed to get out walkies with Sammy.  Been up to see aunt Joan (Nort Roe) in the hospital, she's doing so much better :)  Ran pals into Lerwick too and then popped down to see mam.  Might try a pint later with friends. 

I tried my luck heading to Burra for walkies, but it was still raining, I did manage a peerie walk around the village.  I also nipped to the shop for a few errands.  The scene hasn't changed much over the years, well apart from that old croft house painted blue now!!  Taken at Andrew Halcrow's shop, Hamnavoe, Burra.
