Cromer Pier

A late blip, so I must try to make it brief!

This week has been a long one, but thankfully a lot less headaches. I must be doing something right.

I was eager to get out at 4 today. Glenys was at the railway station waiting for me, when I arrived at about quarter past. We proceeded to chat non stop (mostly me, poor Glenys) for the next hour driving home.

Jon and Henry were preparing and packing for their survival camp. Jon seemed a bit stressed. I think he is looking forward to Sunday!

Once we had waved them off on their way, Glenys and i settled down with a cup of tea to map the progress of Karen, who was driving from Lichfield (via Peterborough where we discovered later she had enjoyed much needed retail therapy). Once we were joined by Karen, we enjoyed chilli prepared by Mollie, plus lots more chatting and a little wine to lubricate the conversation. I went out to pick Moll up from work at 9.30, and at 11.30, with hot water bottles in hand, the girls headed next door to bed.

We are looking forward to being joined by Helen tomorrow who has a long drive from Oxford. Then more of the same....
