Essential

Essential to life and the reason we know our home as the Blue Planet. Water. We have just had three consequetive days of summer with temperatures in or around 27C. Water was well nigh essential to survival. I know I consumed lots more than usual and when I got home I had to give the parched plants and flowers a long cool drink too.
Looks like the rain will be back tomorrow afternoon. I'm verytempted to rise really early in the morning and make the most of things with some landscape photography. The eagle eyed among you may have noticed that I have been using a Fujifilm x-10 recently. My latest purchase and although it's so small that some of the buttons are a bit fiddly to use, I have no regrets at all. Easily the best compact I have ever used and the prints are utterly amazing, easily a match for either of my Canon DSLR's. It's so good that I think I will carry the x-10 alone tomorrow and leave the DSLR's behind. It will be an experiment and a real test of the Fuji.
