Kelsall Hill Horse Trials

They are holding horse trials this weekend at the equestrian centre on the other side of the hill to where we live, so we went for a walk over there to see what was going on.

I'm not a horsey person and know nothing about horse eventing but it was great fun photographing the riders.  I've decided that I prefer the cross country events to the show jumping (hence my main picture and the first extra), but I've added a show jumping extra just because I liked the horse.

I may go back tomorrow to see if I can find the Dressage events......I like a prancing horse :-)
