Les Gorges de Pennafort

On a previous stay in Bargemon I went to the gorges of Pennafort and took some pictures from the top. Now two years and a bit later we went along and took a walk along the river level. There's not been a lot of rain so there's not much water there. There are some nice holes for wild swimming but we also saw some nice viperine water snakes (natrix maura) in there which would put me off a bit even though they're closely related to the grass snake and apparently not very poisonous.

It's good to have seen the gorge from both levels. There are some more pics here.
