Trieste, Italy and Ljubljana

Day 9 of our Mediterranean Cruise and we visit this previously major Port of Trieste and the ancient and 'stag night' city of Ljubljana. Without doubt it a remarkable place with a long history of regeneration following earthquakes and occupation by various regimes. The town centre has been designated car free but serious damage can be done by bicycles! A place on our revisit and stay awhile list!
