A word in your ear please !

Busy day today - have been at the farm all day helping my brother set everything out for the Farm sale tomorrow. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain overnight but a good drying day today has helped to dry up the field where the larger items are set out. 

We have been laying out the smaller stuff in a large shed including an old wooden grain mixer bought by my grandfather in 1931 - my brother found the receipt. It has a bit of woodworm and has been  in the granary ever since he came to Fife in 1946 as we can both remember turning the handle and revolving it when we were children.

These horses were in the field next to the sale field - the extra shows one of them being brought in by the groom at the end of the afternoon. That is when the other 2 were gossiping! Soon be the end of my farm horse blips.
