Flett's Flit fae Flotta
Another ideal, very warm afternoon. CMC did duties in the Kirk cafe whilst I stayed at base camp, checked oxygen cylinders and completed the minutes from various meetings. In the afternoon we went for another cycle. But cycling is oh so easy now that CMC’s sister is in the parish. Her peedie cafe was open today too.
This is the boat from Flotta slowly gliding into Houton Pier. In other news I have to raise everyone’s awareness to indicate it is only 38 days to go to the cultural event of the year. It looms large over Ascot, Perth races, Musselburgh Races, Henley Regatta, Cannes Film festival. Many of you will have guessed by now that it is the Flotta Harvest Home. It is the very apogee of island hospitality. And, if CMC ‘over-indulges’, we can stay over for the night.
This weekend appears to be the end of unremitting blue skies. I blame that Sean Batty.
Graham Leggat ghosts down the wing at Pittodrie and cuts inside.
If only.
