ISBN (Investigate Stromness Books Now)

I carried out an action today that was always widely recommended by our old pal Michael Marra.  I went to the library to tak oot a book.  For this is the relatively new Stromness Library.  It has an excellent area upstairs; to sit and while away time, browse the shelves or watch what is going on in the harbour. 

The only downside is that under ‘novels’ the shelves are almost empty.  The Stromness Library only has two stories (Merry Mac; 1963 vintage).

The only thing missing was the Librarian’s trusty stamp.
