Another 20 years

Today I've been spoilt rotten.

It's my 20th wedding anniversary. I decided a while ago I was going to try my wedding dress on today. So I made attempt to loose weight and get into my dress, which has not been out the box since it was put away nearly 20 years ago.

Today was the day and unfortunately it didn't materialise, i did not reach my goal but theres always next year for our 21st! I looked at it tho and it is still as gorgeous as it was then.

So with that disappointment out the way we started our anniversary day. We had coffee in town. A trip to currys to complain my new food processor had not arrived, of course it wasn't their fault it was despatches, despatches say it wasn't them. Bla dee bla any way, got my food processor and then we went for lunch.

Lunch was at a local hotel, Mr C had beef I had a salad! Wrong choice for mrs c but it was very nice. I received 20 red roses, one for each year, an eternity ring and a cd of our first dance song. All a lovely surprise and none expected. We don't usually buy for anniversaries. I felt a bit bad when I only gave Mr C one of my famous photo books, but he was happy with it.

Before our coffee our first dance song was played (arranged by Mr C), so we twirled around the restaraunt to Eric Clapton, Wonderful Tonight.

With lunch over we had a short trip to the seaside and a tub of their famous ice cream. Then it was back home where no tea was needed as we're still full from lunch.

Footy training and a daughters first shift at work we slipped back into our world as parents and taxi drivers. A quick diet coke with dad before settling down for the night to relect on our day today and lovely memories of 20 years ago today.
