Village of Martyrs

Firstly we must thank you for all your very kind comments, stars, and hearts for yesterday's offering.
It was such a beautiful sunrise this morning we were drawn to the lake again where the mist was rising over the water. However as the day progressed we visited Oradour sur Glane. Here, on 10th June 1944 the whole population was massacred. 642 people lost their lives. The village has been preserved as it was found. tragically moving!
