Autumn Joy

I think this is the rather appropriate name of this particular variety of Sedum marking our pitch on the caravan site at Mytholmroyd near Hebden Bridge.  We had reluctantly left Culzean Castle and our photography friends in the morning and travelled south east to this delightful area.  We sympathised with travellers between Penrith and Carlisle on the northbound carriageway of the M6 who were either stuck on the  road behind the accident or diverted off the motorway.  We knew how they might be feeling after our experience on the 8th.  Unfortunately it was rather late in the evening before we realised we hadn't taken our picture for today and so you have an emergency blip!
