A Sloe Blip Day

After my brambling expedition yesterday, today I started the process of converting them to jam.

I made two batches of blackberry and raspberry jam using raspberries harvested form the garden and stored in the freezer. Used 1kg of each fruit in each batch and so now I have 1.5 kg of blackberries to use up, so bought some apples to make a different flavour jam tomorrow.

Out for a walk and spotted the sloes in a hedgerow - had to use a bit of flash as it was so dark!

Also got a rather cool shot of a shield bug and a little spider racing around the edge of one of my tubs of berries..added as an extra
