Maruia Falls

It never ceases to amaze me that with warning signs and barriers, people still climb over to get closer. Then when someone drowns, there is a great public outcry about how unsafe the falls are.

At least this couple didn't get too close, though they are still well over the barrier. When the river is in flood the water rages over the rock slabs they are standing on.

Anyway, rant over, I like the way the green shows in the falls but the pool at the bottom is so deep that you can only see the blues in it.
