Coal tit

Hubby's off to Malta (working trip) so I'm left to enjoy the remainder of the Scottish sunshine alone for a few days. I took myself off into town on an errand - briefly, given the horrendous roadworks, diversions and festival madness. Thankfully I was on my bike so got in and out faster than with 4 wheels! I found a spot of peace at the Botanics and took a few shots of flowers, but this shot of a little coal tit at the bird feeder at home won the day as my choice of blip. I love the way you can just see his little tongue catching the seed (though large may be better if that's an option).
