The Doc

Apart from an early jaunt to the opticians to pick up some new specs and to do a visual field test (40/40 on each eye - yay!), it was fairly busy work-wise, particularly since I've got six days leave and messages, other stuff and auto-replies had to be done. Not that anyone will notice, but it's the principle of the thing....

Went up to the station to meet Doc off the train - given the current state of road closures it seems unfair to expect visitors to emerge from Waverley station and be able to find a bus to Leith unaided. It must be two years since we saw him last, so it was very good to sit and have a blether.
