Red eye

Lot of it about today; The Dizzle has had a busy weekend of early rising, Top Gun did a late nighter on the lash in London, and TSM and I flew in on the overnight plane from New York. TSM coped much better than me with the jet lag but most important was seeing Dylan in the animal hospital. We are hoping all goes well in the next 24 hours and he can come home tomorrow, but we're not out of the woods yet. He was absolutely lovely and much better than I had expected; climbed all over us, purring and affectionate.

We did the usual stuff - unpacking, washing, making up the bed etc. The Dizzle loved his New York Rangers hockey shirt. Had shepherds pie for dinner. Lovely to have a home cooked meal again.

As always, good to be home but feels very weird - there is a slight cultural difference between New York and Woking ...
