I did it.

Not one of my more interesting blips but it's something I'm fairly proud of. I made the shutter and polished the top to a glassy smoothness. The main difficulty is making the shuttering inside out and making sure that it can be taken apart, and strong enough to not collapse or move under the weight of the concrete.
