The Last Day

The weather forecast was cloudy and rainy from about lunchtime today, so I got up early to go for a walk to the beach with Rachel & Violet. The first thing I saw today was the moon, still shining at sunrise, so I went on the roof terrace to take some photos.

It was lovely at the beach as it was empty when we got there, just the locals having their morning swim.

We didn't stay long as Rachel wanted to get back before Violet needed another feed, but she asked me if I'd go back with her a little later to get some family photos of her & Scott and the girls.

Tonight, Alan & I have been out on our date night and had a lovely meal with some cava, and now it's time for bed as we have an early start in the morning.

We were lucky as the rain never hit us, it got cloudy by late afternoon but was still warm, and looking at the weather map it actually went round us!
