The first of my tulips to show colour this spring. 

The raindrops seem to add  a delicacy to this bud - a remnant of yesterday’s weather. 


Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blue-grey scene of water and sky. It was a day of soft colours, warmth and stillness - a lovely sense of gentle serenity which I hope I captured in the photo.
