Yucca bloom

I took this photo of a Yucca plant that is in full bloom, in town, early this morning. Then it was back home to pack a picnic lunch for us all. Our daughter and her boyfriend are visiting and I wanted to show them Dartmoor.  We made it to Haytor with its wonderful scenery although we didn't walk far.  It was very windy and my daughter never seems to have suitable shoes for walking in anyway.  I think they were impressed with the views and scenery though.

Off tonight for a belated birthday meal for my husband and an early birthday meal for our daughter.
