Birthday today. Yay, last year of being a fifty-something!

Was woken up at 6 a.m. by the dog running around downstairs - apparently there was a huge flash of lightning and a rumble of thunder (which I didn't hear!).

Opened my birthday cards and presents - sweets and clothes seems to be this years theme! Oh and a bottle of Black Sheep Holy Grail Ale - a new one to me.

Heavy rain followed quite quickly and it rained all morning, so I watched the Led Zeppelin reunion concert (it's been sitting on the Sky box for ages) and as Mrs madwill was at work, the stereo was turned up high!

Managed to get out for a walk with Finlay after the rain stopped and spotted this fantastic cloud formation, so that was blip sorted. A three shot HDR as I couldn't get enough detail in a single shot.

Reassembled my car after using it as van to take the old suite to the tip yesterday -  and then took another load of rubbish there today.

Beer chilling in the fridge ready for later - sweets lined up for afters!
