Overproduction

First job of the day (after breakfast) was to remove our old sofa and chairs from the lounge as a new set was being delivered.

I managed to break up the frames and then stuff it all into my car.

The delivery firm arrived around 10, as did our daughter and granddaughter - so with nowhere to sit, they and Mrs madwill went out for coffee / lunch / shopping.

New suite fits (phew) and looks very nice.

After a bit of catching up on Blip I took the old suite to the tip and on the way back spotted these beans and courgette / marrow that had been left out on the wall at the allotments - presumably excess to requirements and left for locals to help themselves. There were plenty of others there as well as these specimens.

The three shoppers returned mid afternoon - and we arranged to go out for a meal in the evening ahead of my birthday on Friday (can't go out on the day itself as daughter is working nights! Had a very nice curry at the Aagrah in Doncaster. Mrs madwill drove home so I was able to have a couple of beers (a mini break in Dry September!).
