Clematis Tangutica

We feel a lot better today. Yesterday  I managed to get through to my insurance co, first thing, they log it all and gave us a loss adjuster co, and said that firm would phone us in 2-4 hours they phoned us in 5 hours which we thought was very quick. The man said that they would be sending a loss adjuster round, they did not know when that would be, but we could get the carpet lifted as long as we kept it for the adjuster to see. Peter managed to find a firm call Richfords in Redruth, which deal with floor and fire damage. I spoke to them, they said they could do it but were inundated with calls which you could understand. She said they hoped they could get to us on friday. At about 4.45pm a very tall chap that looked like a rugby player arrive and said he had come to lift the carpet, which he did, then sprayed it with some sort of disinfectant and left us with a dehumidifier and fan drier. 

So we feel very fortunate things have been sorted as much as they have so quickly, when we know there are lots of people down here are in a worst state then us. 

The adjuster is coming on Saturday
