Straw bales

What a gorgeous day its been today.   Spotted these straw bales through this wonderful iron railing after taking Misty to the vets in Wigton.  As we were so close to Caldbeck I couldn't resist taking her for a half hour run on the common there.  Took a few photos of the fells but it was very very hazy.  

Misty was fine after her visit to the vet but looks like she needs medication for the rest of her life as she appears to be incontinent :( which I know is quite common for spayed bitches.  Its a really shame though.

Trying to get the house ready for visitors tomorrow so a bit full on for the next few days which means less time for commenting .....
