Thuès entre vals

Two walking groups joined up this morning which meant there were 35 of us and that made for very slow progress.  Nevertheless, we reached the log cabin refuge at 1340 metres, built twenty years ago by a group of youngsters with emotional and behavioural difficulties.  It must have been great therapy and they would have been too exhausted to get into any mischief after climbing up there and working all day!  We also passed the Romanesque chapel above Thuès.  The route down had some magnificent views over the valley back to Olette.  The Flickr set is here.
