Potters We're Not!

Some of you may remember the pottery session we had when we were on holiday recently in County Durham.  Our host has very kindly fired the pieces and posted them on to us.  The tiny jug with finger grips is mine and the tea bag holder is TJ's.

They really didn't deserve the superb packaging she put them in, but they will serve as an amusing reminder of a most enjoyable holiday.  Our skills lie more in painting woodwork (TJ) and wall papering (me).

Finally got everything back in the study, including that huge desk and three sets of drawers and a large bookcase.  The pictures are back on the walls and the electrics connected properly, so I'm sitting here admiring this fresh new room:-)  Just as well I like it, as it's probably the last time it will get decorated in my lifetime:-)
