The cycle ride.

Phil couldn't wait to go cycling so we set of this morning and he assured me that he had found some quiet roads which were in a flat area, We cycled from Dockerty to Graysdale about 12 miles and discovered the post office doubled up as a shop and tea room. Tea for two and a rest was perfect before cycling back. There seemed to be more hills on the way back. exhausted we staggered into a pub for lunch before returning to Patterdale for a sleep. Conclusion - even flat bits are hilly.
