The Lighted Life

By Giacomo

Dark to Light

I have walked by this commercial breezeway at least 50 times in my life on my way for an espresso after work, but never before have I looked into it. Today, for some reason, I did. In the hour just after sunset, it provided an interesting muse. And the image is a bit of a metaphor for my day. The morning sky was dark and dreary as were the faces when I arrived at work. But, as the day went on, the clouds gave way to light and the corners of the mouths around me turned from upside down to to right size up. And, as is the case with my house tonight, I am the only one home and yet I feel confined by its empitness. The girls, Bon and the pups are up north.

I hate to blip and run, but I am as tired as I have ever been in my life so I will post this and head to bed. My duties at work and my desire to be with my family continues to escalate and I am struggling as of late to find 32 hours within my 24-hour day. I am sure you have seen that in my level of commenting and in my blips. But, things will sort out eventually.

Thank you for your comments on my blip yesterday and, for that matter, each and every day. Your friendship and kindness floor me every day.

This image, in large, has a much better POV aspect.
