Small Tortoiseshell

Many thanks for the response to yesterday's blip. Fingers crossed the weather is as good for the event next weekend.

I have not seen many butterflies this summer. Today on a dog walk I saw several different varieties. A Ringlet butterfly was sunning itself on a leaf in the woods. However this Small Totoiseshell enjoying the sunshine on this succulent was my favourite.
