Graduation Day

The day for which my daughter has been working the past year, the awarding of her master's degree in plant taxonomy. She is shown here holding her recently gained certificate surrounded by the family and friends who made the long journey to celebrate her accomplishment with her and her parents (mom in black, dad taking the photo). Fittingly this was shot in one of the glass houses, which provides her program with so much of the material for study. One more day together before people move on to new locations.
