Bike Commute

Made it to the Oregon Washington border early today giving me some time to catch up on a little work in our lovely hotel room. I was our last day in a hotel, so we splurged on a room at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach, right on the Columbia River. I hustled out to the Columbia River Interstate Bridge, completed in 1917, as the sun started to set. A constant stream of bike commuters brushed by me as I shot photos of the bridge, the end of the day traffic, and Mt. Hood. I realized they made a pretty good photo as they reached the crest of the bridge, so swung my camera in that direction before the sun was all the way down.
