up very early to take k to school so that i could borrow the car.

what a morning.

breakfast at a cafe opposite the beach. walk along the sand watching the people swimming and surfing before work.

off to manly west for a great visit then a drive round checking out the area. to queenscliff for a swim - on such a hot and sticky day the sea temperature was gorgeous, even if i was wearing my glasgow speedos and must have looked like a peelie wallie.

then tea with a friend of a friend, a schlep in the mall (yuck) and back for a swim in the pool and a cold beer.
