Is there anything a cat likes less than a closed door?

Today we took Rodney to the vets for his physical, and I was expecting to be congratulated for having one slim cat in a houseful of feline porkers. Turns out I was wrong.

He has had what polite society would call loose stools, ie foul smelling runny yellow poop for a while but nothing has shown up in his samples. The vet now thinks that he is having problems with the special urology dry catfood they all eat (because it's easier for me!) that was prescribed for Edna.

So now Rodney has his own special diet of wet food that smells amazing (to the cats!) and which has granules of healthy flora that smell like oxo sprinkled on top. He is so happy he's developed a totally new miaow for it!
