The Leith Three
We went out and about on a few errands, to Stockbridge via the Dean Gardens and then John Lewis - but nothing that caught my eye for a blip. Later on I strolled down to the Shore and across the bridge to see what I could see, and was just thinking you'd have to make do with yet another set of Shore refelections when who should come under the bridge but the swans with their one cygnet. We think s/he was the only one that hatched this year, compared with 5 at least last year. Anyway, the solitary youngster is thriving under two sets of beady eyes.
