There is no news yet

Although I was working from home the pace was very intense with a succession of emails and phone calls making and unmaking last minute arrangements. It all quietened down in the afternoon, maybe because people had remembered about the Big Announcement that's due on Monday morning. They probably started drinking early.

I had been told last week that I'd applied too late to study a wee course (the idea had been simply to experience a totally online course, and report back) - but got a message today saying that a place had been confirmed after all. Curses! So I had a look at the course website. There is no news yet. Very true.

It was very good to see DaveH coming through the door, after his labours in Blackburn and the usual terrifying journey. Time to head for the sofa with a glass of something, I think.
